Enjoy a nightly stroll through the town’s two very distinct parts: the​old town​with its stone houses, gazebos, Arab baths, its famous bullring and its narrow streets with a captivating charm (inherited from Roman, Phoenician and Muslim eras). And on the other hand, the modern part, with sleek shopping areas, offering a great vibe and colorful views.

In this beautiful setting, you can taste dishes that are as delicious as simple: ​beans with garlic tomato and ham​, beans with blood sausage or gazpacho a la serrana. Mushroom stews are also very popular, thanks to the prized forest delicacies available in this region: boletus, chanterelles, champignon mushrooms, etc. But undoubtedly, the highlight of Ronda is its sweet side: ​fritters, donuts, yolks from el Tajo and almond soup.​ Many of these, with a base of honey and almonds, are proof of the centuries-old influence of the Arab culture.
